DURHAM, N.C. (August 18, 2016) . . .Bob Aquilino, president of Accessible Design & Build, Inc. (AD&B), has been named to the University of North Carolina’s Advisory Board for the Partnerships in Aging Program (PiAP). As a campus-wide hub for multidisciplinary curricula involving aging in the 21st century, UNC’s Partnership in Aging Program’s mission includes reaching out locally, nationally, and globally to “develop practical, dynamic responses to the cultural, economic and demographic shifts occurring as a result of our rapidly aging population.”
“This will be a great opportunity to support the PiAP mission and work with community organizations to foster better understandings and develop collaborative processes that can help people as they age,” said Aquilino.
Aquilino spent more than 25 years in leadership positions with Fortune 500 companies. His experience includes international postings and extensive work with community organizations. Aquilino is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and he has participated in extended executive study at Oxford University, Darden School of Business, and The Wharton School.
