Robert M. Aquilino, President
Bob began his career in residential construction as a carpenter and, 30-plus years later, has returned to the industry that inspired his desire to build. In the interim, he spent 16 years with PepsiCo as an executive, living and working abroad, for both the Pepsi-Cola™ and Frito Lay™ divisions. He also served as a president of three United Technologies companies over a 10 year period in the security and fire prevention space. As president of Accessible Design & Build, he brings strong strategic planning, sales, marketing and P&L skills to open and develop new markets and lead the family of businesses to new levels of success. Bob is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and has participated in extended executive study at Oxford University, Darden School of Business, and The Wharton School. Additionally, he has served his community as a board member & “Big Brother” for Big Brothers-Big Sisters, USO, Make-A-Wish Foundation and as a guest speaker/advisor on Leadership Development at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Bob currently serves as an adjunct professor at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and board advisor to UNC’s Partnerships in Aging Program (PiAP). https://partnershipsinaging.unc.edu/
